The Edo culture is indeed rich, with so many tribes having their own unique wedding rites. Today’s beautiful video showcases a very important one deeply tied to generations of heritage.

It was a celebration of love, but culture also greatly crowned the day. The Nigerian-Ghanaian couple sealed their forever in the Edo traditional way. Customarily, the bride’s father presents her to her groom, a sign of acceptance. She sits on his lap several times, and alas, she officially becomes his wife. We can also feel the couple’s chemistry radiate, and it’s just so sweet. Honestly, it’s absolutely wonderful to see tradition alive and going strong in modern-day weddings. 😍
