The Federal Government has opened applications for the iDICE Startup Bridge Growth Lab, a new initiative designed to support promising Nigerian technology startups with mentorship, business development and access to funding of up to $350,000 (approximately N482 million).
The programme is being implemented under the Investment in Digital and Creative Enterprises (iDICE) initiative through the Bank of Industry (BoI). It aims to help early stage startups strengthen their businesses, attract investors and scale their operations.
According to the organisers, 12 Nigerian startups will be selected to participate in the intensive 12 week accelerator programme, where they will receive expert mentorship, investment readiness training and strategic support to prepare for growth.
The programme is targeted at technology driven startups that have already developed a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) and have been operating for less than 12 months.
Selected participants will have the opportunity to pitch their businesses for funding of up to $350,000, depending on their performance and investment potential.
Applications for the programme are currently open and will close on August 19, 2026. Eligible entrepreneurs are encouraged to submit their applications before the deadline.
The iDICE initiative forms part of the Federal Government’s broader strategy to strengthen Nigeria’s digital economy by supporting innovation, entrepreneurship and job creation through technology driven businesses.
Officials say the programme will provide startups with the tools, networks and investment opportunities needed to compete both locally and internationally while contributing to economic growth.
Entrepreneurs interested in participating are advised to review the eligibility requirements and complete their applications before the closing date.Internal Link Suggestion: Read more startup, business and technology news on our website.
