Seven years ago, at ICM, the lovebirds crossed paths at this life-changing party. Olatubosun spotted Moyosore, and he was immediately captivated by her smile. It was bright and beautiful, and it sparked something deep within him. They didn’t talk that night, but fate was planning the perfect time for things to fall into place. From attending her own birthday party later on, still very much mesmerised by her, to a beach date that took everything to the next level, their love blossomed. Now they’ve stepped into forever with a wonderful Nikkah ceremony! Moyosore looked absolutely beautiful for her big day, and Olatubosun was indeed a dapper groom. I first crossed paths with Moyosore on November 12, 2019, at a friend’s birthday party in Rhapsody, ICM. From the very first moment, something about her stopped me, her smile. It was warm, effortless, and unforgettable. She smiled the entire evening, lighting up the room, while I admired her quietly from afar. That day, I met her… but she never met me. I tried catching her attention, but we didn’t even make a single eye contact. Later, I learned she was not mine to know yet. And so, I stepped back, trusting that what God hides for you cannot pass you by. I carried the memory of her smile, not knowing it was a promise waiting for its appointed time.

December 2020, which was her birthday month, destiny came calling. That same friend reached out to tell me Moyosore was single and that her birthday was approaching on the 27th. I was invited to her birthday dinner, and half in jest but full of hope, I asked that she invite me herself. And she did. That single message felt like fate finally answering a silent prayer. That night, we sat across from each other at the table. I couldn’t take my eyes off her, yet words were few, but my heart was loud. We ate, smiled, and existed in the same space, unaware that our real beginning was still waiting.

It was at the beach, under open skies and beside the rhythm of the waves, that everything aligned. Conversations flowed, laughter followed, and barriers dissolved. In that moment, it felt as though our souls recognised what time had been preparing all along. I knew then this was not chance. This was purpose finding its way home. What began as a fleeting glance at a party turned into a bond I could no longer imagine my life without. Today, I stand here knowing that the smile I admired from afar is the smile I get to wake up to for the rest of my life. This is our love story, and this is the beginning of forever. ❤️
