Global sportswear giant Nike have officially launched the Super Eagles of Nigeria’s new home and away kits for the 2026 international cycle, Soccernet.ng reports.
Nike delivered another striking design for the Nigerian national football team despite the team’s absence from the upcoming World Cup.
The new jerseys, released on Monday, introduce a fresh visual identity for Nigeria, which blends cultural inspiration with modern performance technology ahead of a busy international calendar.

Motocross-inspired away kit steals the spotlight
The standout piece from the collection is the away jersey, which features a clean white base brought to life by bold, flame-like green graphics sweeping across the body, sleeves, and hem.
Nike says the design draws inspiration from Nigeria’s motocross culture, street art, and Afrobeats energy. Dark green accents appear on the collar and sleeve cuffs, while the centrally placed Nigeria Football Federation crest — updated with “1945” — sits alongside a black Nike Swoosh.
The jersey is built with Nike’s Dri-FIT technology and made from 100% recycled polyester, ensuring breathability and comfort for players and fans alike.
Super Eagles’ home kit keeps it classic with a modern twist
Alongside the bold away strip, Nike also revealed a refreshed home kit that leans into tradition with a vibrant light-green base.
The shirt features darker green side panels and a subtle dotted fade pattern, which offers a modern take on the Super Eagles’ iconic look while maintaining its identity.
Both kits are now available globally as part of the “Nigeria 2026 Stadium” collection, with replicas already on sale via Nike’s official retail platforms.
The launch has triggered strong reactions across social media, with many fans praising the creativity of the designs, particularly the eye-catching away jersey.
However, some supporters noted the bittersweet timing, as the Super Eagles will not showcase the kits at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The new strip is expected to debut in upcoming Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers and international friendlies, with stars like Victor Osimhen, Ademola Lookman, and Wilfred Ndidi set to lead the team in the fresh designs.
